True love stories never have endings…
I always love asking how the proposal was done, who asked who, etc. I do it to be nosy, yes, but it also gives me a glimpse into the personality of your relationship. Engagement shoots are SO fun and playful! It also gives me a chance to see how you move (or don’t move) when in front of the camera. I offer guidance when needed, but I can also just let things naturally happen. I have what I call a “mama’s instinct” - and that goes well beyond kids. I literally get a feeling in my gut when something is about to happen, and I promise you I will have my camera focused and ready to go when that happens!

While I was a bit nervous, Sara, with both knowledge and ease, was able to direct my wife and me through the process of our engagement and wedding pictures. The weather was bitterly cold and snowy (for BOTH photo sessions), and we weren’t sure what would happen to the pictures. We got some amazing, "moody," photos to enjoy for a lifetime. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Sara! Everything from communication right down details, was just plain amazing. She did a mini shoot for us and then photographed our wedding. Having our engagement photos taken by Sara was a wonderful experience that we'll never forget! We thought we came prepared with a generator, extension cords, and string lights, but it was so cold the generator failed! It seemed like fate was determined to make things difficult for us, but Sara made sure that didn't happen :) She kept us in good spirits the whole time, and even helped us hook the lights up to our car! Of course, the lights flashed on and off (oh no!) but Sara was determined to work the timing and capture just the right moment :D She not only used the ideas we sent her for photos, but also made helpful suggestions for posing which ended up being our favorites out of all of them!
We can't recommend her enough and are excitedly waiting for her to take our wedding photos!!

I contacted Sara via email about two weeks before our family trip hoping I would be able to find someone to not only take family pictures but also help with capturing a surprise engagement, she responded in such a timely matter and was so helpful and easy to communicate with which made it an easy decision! Before you knew it we were all booked and ready to go!
